Rhodesian Light Infantry
Il Rhodesian Light Infantry é stato un prestigioso reggimento di fanteria rhodesiano pesantemente coinvolto nella guerra civile e disciolto col cambio di regime insieme ai Sealous Scouts ed altri reparti di élite.

| Nazione | Rhodesia[1] Il governo emise la sua dichiarazione di indipendenza unilaterale come Rhodesia ed usò questo nome fino a che non venne cambiato in Zimbabwe Rhodesia il 1 giugno 1979.[2] Il governo britannico continuò ad usare il nome Southern Rhodesia, teoricamente il suo nome ufficiale per tutto il tempo fino al ritorno sotto il controllo britannico il 12 dicembre 1979 come "British Dependency of Southern Rhodesia".[3][4] Il nome Zimbabwe venne finalmente adottato sulla base dell'indipendenza riconosciuta internazionalmente a mezzanotte tra il 17 e il 18 aprile 1980.[5] |
