The song was once characterized by a band member as a break up song, that is about making up as well (hence the lyric "falling in and out of love...").
Go With the Flow is well-known for its accompanying music video, featuring revolutionary visual effects. The video is the work of London based artist group Shynola. The footage was shot in a studio, the desert background was added later.
The song "Go with the Flow" was featureed in the video game "Freestyle Street Soccer".
