| You are now creating the vote-counting page for an option in your poll.
The text of the page has been pre-loaded with roughly the exit text that the reader will see after voting, but some adjustments must be made manually:
- Replace
{ARTICLE_LINK} with a link to the article (or page) which will use this poll. For instance, if this poll ran in the "News and notes" section of the February 11, 2015 edition of the Signpost the correct link to insert would be Wikipedia:Wikipedia Signpost/2015-02-11/News and notes.
- Replace instances of {noinclude} and {/noinclude} with
<noinclude> and </noinclude>, respectively.
- Important: The next two steps require that you save the page. To continue to see this editnotice open User:Resident Mario/Voter/Setup/Counter EditIntro in a separate browser tab. Save the page and open it for editing again.
- Change the value of the number being divided and preview the page each time until you "zero" the page's output.
- Change the
<!-~ to a <!-- and save to complete creating the vote page.
