Genevieve Gorder (born July 26, 1974 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American television host and interior designer. She attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She was one the designers who was inTLC hit series Trading Spaces. Genevieve Gorder has now left the show to pursue other opportunities, particularly with TLC (such as the seris Town Haul) [1].
She became famous on the Trading Spaces series for her quirk for working barefoot, meaning that she cannot start remodeling a room unless she is barefoot. She parodies this quirk in a series of Swiffer sweeper commercials, which first started running on television and in periodicals in 2003.
In addition to her role on Trading Spaces, she was also a designer for a spinoff show, Trading Spaces: Family. In 2005, she undertook the makeover of several buildings in the town of Jeffersonville, New York in her current hit series Town Haul.
