Extreme Rules 2014 sarà la sesta edizione pay per view annuale offerto dalla WWE. L'evento si svolgerà il 4 maggio 2014 presso l'Izod Center di East Rutherford, New Jersey.[1]
Background
La faida tra John Cena e la The Wyatt Family è continuata e John Cena ha chiesto un match a Extreme Rules in un Steel Cage match venendo accettato da Bray Wyatt.
Nella puntata di Raw del 14 aprile viene indetto un torneo per determinare il contendente numero 1 al WWE Intercontinental Championship detenuto da Big E.
