The Fleet of Particular Justice is a fictional fleet of ships in the Halo video game series.
Battle of Reach and Halo 04
Battle of Reach
During the Battle of Reach, The Fleet of Particular Justice was one of many fleets to engage United Nations Space Command (UNSC) Naval forces. After the destruction of all UNSC Naval and Marine forces, The Fleet of Particular Justice began "glassing" the planet with the CCS-Class Cruisers' plasma cannons. When this happened, the UNSC Ship, The Pillar of Autumn, evaded the Covenant Fleet and set a course to Halo 04, persued by the Fleet of Particular Justice
Battle of Halo 04
During the Battle of Halo 04, there were two main ships leading the battle, the Ascendant Justice, and the Truth and Reconciliation. In total, there were 20 ships were at Halo 04 including the Covenant agricultural support ship Infinite Succor. The Ascendant Justice was most likely the command ship of the Covenant Armada during the Battle of Halo 04. One ship that supplied troops, equipment, and vehicles was the Truth and Reconciliation. During the Battle of Halo 04, the UNSC SPARTAN, Master Chief, and his UNSC Marines assaulted the Truth and Reconciliation. During this assault, they liberated Pillar of Autumns captain, Jacob Keyes, and the shipmaster, Orna' Fulsamee was killed at the hands of the Master Chief.
Near the end of the Halo 04 Campaign, the Truth and Reconciliation was overrun by The Flood, and eventually destroyed.
In the book Halo: The Flood it is explained that the Truth and Reconciliation was captured by ODST Major Antonio Silva and his surviving platoon. Silva's plan was to take the Truth and Reconciliation back to Earth. However due to the fact that the cruiser was still overrun with Flood this plan was viewed by Silva's A.I Wesley to be unacceptable and pled Silva to reconsider. Silva ignores Wesley's warning and boards the Truth and Reconciliation with his squad and gains control of the cruiser. The Truth and Reconciliation was destroyed just minutes prior to the destruction of Halo when Lieutenant Melissa McKay Realized that that there would be no real way to sterilize the flood on board the ship's interior. In order to save Earth from Silva's ambitions and clouded judgment, McKay triggered a grenade into the ship's access point that houses the fiber optic pathway that links the control room to the engines. With no control the Truth and Reconciliation did a nose-over before the bow struck, and a series of explosions rippled the length of the hull. The ship, as well as all of those aboard her, ceased to exist.
At the end of the Battle of Halo 04, the Ascendant Justice was attacked by a small group of UNSC Soldiers, and was taken over.
First Strike
Before the invasion of Earth, all of the ships of The Fleet of Particular Justice met at the Covenant Battle Station Unyielding Hierophant. There, the Covenant High Prophet of Regret was in-command of the fleet, while the Supreme Commander was back on High Charity. Unluckily for the Covenant Navy, the unorganized UNSC Forces, led by Admiral Whitcomb, assaulted the Battle Station and delayed the fleet.
At the Battle Station was one of the Covenant's newest allies, the Jiralhanae, who killed numerous Spartans. The Spartans managed to destroy various sections of the Station. Admiral Whitcomb and Lieutenant Haverson took the Ascendant Justice and rammed it into almost half of the Fleet of Particular Justice.
First Battle of Earth
Space Assault
Before the Fleet of Particular Justice had arrived at Earth. UNSC Forces had 300 Super MAC Stations orbiting all across Earth. During the Battle, almost all of the ships of the fleet were destroyed by the UNSC MAC Cannons and UNSC Vessels.
Ground Assault
During the invasion of Earth, the Prophet of Regret landed his Capitol Ship in the city of Mombasa, Kenya. There, his Covenant forces battled UNSC Marine Infantry from the 405th Marine Division out of Diego Garcia. The Covenant forces were ultimately defeated, but destroyed the city in the process of escaping into Slip-Space.
Battle of Halo 05
Battle at the Ruins
At the Battle of Halo 05, the Covenant Army battled UNSC Marine and Marine ODST units from the In Amber Clad in and around the Forerunner Ruins. During the engagement, The Prophet of Regret was in a Forerunner Structure in the middle of a lake, giving a sermon to his loyal Soldiers. Regret was assassinated during the engagement by the Master Chief.
