Invalid Users

When completed, Wikimetrics will list usernames it was unable to process. The reasons for invalid users may include:

  • Incorrect spelling
  • User deleted or changed their username
  • Capitalization
  • Spaces versus underscores
  • Symbol was not recognized by Wikimetrics

If Wikimetrics finds invalid users, you can click the "## are invalid" to get a list of usernames that are not valid. Be sure to check your file for the above issues and try uploading again.

What can users do if they have problems with usernames?

Tip: Search for “user:[username]” in the project’s search box to check for correct spelling and/or whether the user changed or deleted their username.
