Requests for IP check

This page lists requests to identify and block the IP addresses behind attack and vandal accounts that were previously listed at Requests for checkuser. After the account has been reported as blocked or declined by the checkusers, the report is moved here for seven days (most recent sections at the bottom), after which it is deleted. Because there is no attempt to establish a relationship with a puppetmaster account, no separate archive is kept, other than the page history.

Well so says someone who also may not be him. Does it really matter they are inappropriate and a large number created suggesting use of open proxies, the request here isn't to come back and say yes they definitely are person X, but to help close down avenues of "attack". --pgk(talk) 20:09, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For some reason this vandal logged into all their accounts this evening and posted their trademark vandalism [1] on each talk page. I could post maybe 5 times this many socks, temporarily held here [2] if it would be helpfull. I believe all of the accounts are blocked allready, but it would be nice to block the underlying IP, as they are still very active creating new accounts, causing mischief, and going on 5-20 random article sprees as well as occasional page move sprees, before being caught, blocked, and reverted. Whitmarewood

All connected to user User:TheM62Manchester, first, is the normal sort who turn up after a Sunholm/Sunfazer block claiming to know the blocked user and/or claiming that the vandalism will stop now, this was blocked a few days ago but not sure if a checkuser was done to see if this is also the normal chock full of vandalism IP which tends to go with these accounts. Last one edited User talk:Jonathan Seiner, User:TheM62Manchester's original username, and subsequently User_talk:TheM62Manchester so again maybe some connection. Also maybe related to User:Langwath who also appears to be another Sunholm/Sunfazer/TheM62Manchester/Uncle tom cobbly sock. --pgk 17:46, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
