Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/IP check/Archive

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Thatcher (talk | contribs) at 17:18, 18 September 2006 (rm listings >7 days). The present address (URL) is a permanent link to this revision, which may differ significantly from the current revision.

Requests for IP check

This page lists requests to identify and block the IP addresses behind attack and vandal accounts that were previously listed at Requests for checkuser. After the account has been reported as blocked or declined by the checkusers, the report is moved here for seven days (most recent sections at the bottom), after which it is deleted. Because there is no attempt to establish a relationship with a puppetmaster account, no separate archive is kept, other than the page history.

Steve Irwin sleeper accounts

Someone has been vandalizing Steve Irwin (which was semi-protected) with a litany of sleeper accounts (all the edits follow the same pattern). It'd be a fairly good thing to IP block whoever's doing it in order to prevent further disruption. --Slowking Man 03:49, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More Bobby Boulders accounts

These accounts were attacking Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit (third nomination) and Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit, amongst other pages. User:Joe Joe Phelps vandalized my talk page by replacing it with the content of the Randy Moss article, a pattern that has also been seen in recent vandalism to Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit.
