Cleanup calendar : Newest | Earlier this month | October | September | August | Old | Instructions
Please read Wikipedia:Cleanup process for instructions on maintaining this page. There may be more suitable pages for requests, see the resources for collaboration box on the right.
For articles that just need wikification, you should use the wikify template. See Category:Articles that need to be wikified for articles that need wikifying.
If an article needs further cleaning up, add cleanup to the top of the article. To see articles with this tag added, see Category:Cleanup
Some editors prefer that helpers work on leftovers and older articles, just to deal with them and get them out of the way. See the cleanup calendar for requests from previous months. But either preference, new or old; all help is appreciated. If you have a cleanup routine, add your name and your routine preferences (how often, old/new articles, what subjects, etc ) to the cleanup routine list.

- Vanagon: "this is terribly messy, and disorganized, i know, but i would appreciate anyone editing in any missing or incorrect info. thank you." Maybe we should just salvage what we can and redirect to VW Type 2 which has an extensive section on this model already. --rbrwr±

- CEM integration This makes no sense to me. Katefan0 21:01, Nov 19, 2004 (UTC)
- EarthSave Is this encyclopedia-worthy? Looks like an ad for a company. Katefan0 20:56, Nov 19, 2004 (UTC)
- You can say it's along the lines of The Hunger Site, but it does look like a non-profit org to me. - Mailer diablo 22:22, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Polymorphism in object-oriented programming — two article parts not yet melded together, plus comment "Lots more to be said here, including generics..." OwenBlacker

- David McCullough Text dump. Possible copyvio? Definitely a notable historian who needs a good article. Academic Challenger

- Modern Antiques - orphan, chatty, wikify etc - maybe merge into another article --JTN

- Rewritten. Check for any minor mistakes I made. :) - Mailer diablo 22:15, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Bored of Studies. Poor little orphan needs a good home. There's also the page Bored of studies, which I put a merge message on. Grutness 07:37, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- List of corset periods - was merged with a number of articles after listing on VfD. Needs serious cleanup, and also probably a different name. - Mike Rosoft 13:18, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Chakra - the introduction sounds a little bit strange, may be biased in favour of the existence of chakras, and doesn't seem to adequately represent the diversity of the traditions mentioned later in the article. The section on modern New Age notions is also strange with its many slashes, and may even be nonsense (I haven't put up any mental effort to determine this). arj 14:16, 19 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Rewritten with context, links, etc. and moved to Private candidate --rbrwr± 21:48, 18 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Scotism -- my own import from the public ___domain Catholic Encyclopedia text, needs heavy editing for POV and style. -- Karada 16:36, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Have cleaned up somewhat. Could do still do with a little more attention Arthur Holland
- Folk och Rackare Argh! Supposedly a Swedish pop band from the '70s, but it reads like a personal plea for more information on them, complete with someone's email address. I know nothing about this subject -- is it even salvageable? Katefan0 22:52, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)

- Kevin Heffernan--what sport did he play? Needs clarification. Meelar (talk) 21:13, Nov 16, 2004 (UTC)
- Perry Como -- The Talk page was a huge mass of copyvios. I can't confirm that the main article is a similar mass of copyvios but it reads like a transcription of articles written about Perry Como while he was still alive -- the familiarity, the present tense, the emphasis on what a great guy he is, rather than encyclopedic facts. Needs a massive re-write even if it's not copyvio. -- Antaeus Feldspar 19:46, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Wow. WORST ARTICLE EVER. Did a big cleanup, but someone should probably go back and sweep the floors. Deleted tons of stuff. It was a tribute, not an article. -R. fiend 23:48, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- Viera context please!
might be patent nonsense but i'm not quite sure-is seemingly some final fantasy stuff Lady Tenar 23:26, 15 Nov 2004 (UTC)- It's a race from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which links to it -- I've put a merge notice on it, since it's detail too granular considering that this race only appears in this one game.

- King Rising Levitation - Is this illusion only performed by this one magician? Is this magician noteworthy enough to have an article about? If the answer to the first question is yes and the second is no, then we need to get rid of it. If the answer to the first is no, then get rid of the Cory King info and write an article about the illusion and how it's performed. If Cory King is a notable magician, we need an article about him. - Tlahuelpuchi - is this real or fictional? Needs fmt, and some context in which the term is found. Mgm|(talk) 21:01, Nov 10, 2004 (UTC)

- canton of Villeneuve-l'Archevêque needs a term rewritten - "recutting of the districts": the historical event to which this refers to could be given a mention elsewhere.
- Gers (France): the Condom link still leads to the object rather than the place.

- Medha Hari - a Indian Bharatanatyam ballet dancer, seems notable, but the language is poor and it reads like an advert. -- Netoholic @ 04:39, 2004 Nov 10 (UTC)
- Paul Harris - unwikified text dump, but probably too rambling to be copyvio. He apparently is a musician of some not (try searching "Paul Harris" magic), but much seems hard to verify, movie claim runs counter to IMDb (diff Paul Harris) Niteowlneils
- I think you meant magician instead of musician. Anyway, I'll give a look and see if there's something salvagable in there. couldn't hurt my WikiProject Magic either :) Mgm|(talk) 09:56, Nov 10, 2004 (UTC)

- Echeveria - taxobox covers text and isn't aligned to the right. Can't find what's wrong, coding seems similar to box on Horse. If it's fixed, can someone leave an interesting factoid from the article at Template talk:Did you know? Mgm|(talk) 21:51, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)
- The coding is probably fine, it's just that there's no contraint on the width of the taxobox, as far as I can tell. Since this box has some REALLY long text in it, it takes up the entire article width. As a stop-gap measure, I placed the taxobox inside another table with a given width. Can anyone think of a better solution? - RedWordSmith
- The only other solution I can think of (done in the article) would be to put linebreaks in the long entries, but that's arguably just a hack that requires more work. Could/Should Template:Taxobox_begin set the width, preferably from a passed parameter? Or have a Template:Taxobox_begin_width_30_percent for these cases? Niteowlneils 02:14, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Gapan City lacks lead (where is this place?) needs wiki, possible copyvio; basically just a huge chunk of text, bits of which seem interesting, if true. --Woggly 10:11, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

- New Trier High School - I deleted large chunks of text which were copies from the school's website and newspaper articles. This leaves unwikified text and not much worthwhile. I'm not going to list this on VfD because I *know* it's a notable school, but it should be clear in the article that it is. RickK 07:10, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)
