Ciara: The Evolution is the second studio album by R&B singer Ciara, set to be released on December 5, 2006.
She says, "I took my inspiration from many different influences and the sound really reflects that.'" Confirmed producers include Rodney Jerkins, Pharrell Williams, Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas, Lil Jon, and Jazze Pha all contributed beats to the project. Ciara also wrote or co-wrote every song on Ciara: The Evolution, she also co-produced almost every track.
Ciara says the dance numbers she’s known for will also give fans a glimpse into her personality. "The world loves to dance, so I wanted to give them music to dance to," she says. "But at the same time, the message is so much stronger. This time around, I’m taking people into my world and letting them see more of who I truly am."
Her latest single, "Get Up" was included on the soundtrack to the motion picture Step Up, released on August 11, 2006. Ciara: The Evolution hits stores December 5, and the album's first single, "Promise", will hit radios October 16. [1]
