There are two possible variants, depending on how the end enters and exits the loop knot:
- The first type where
- The end enters the loop knot from the opposite side compared to the main part.
- It then seems to exit as a continuation of the loop beginning.
- The main part and the end are on the same plane as the loop.
- The second type where
- The end enters the loop knot perpendicular to the main part.
- It then seems to exit as a continuation of it.
- The main part and the end are perpendicular to the loop plane.
