- I find the approaches to cross wiki vandalism & the like quite strange really. I am happy to "assume good faith" but when an IP (or a named user) has a record that is not constructive elsewhere I see no reason to wait for bad behaviour and then clean up. The ability to deal with such issues is something I would envy you having as a steward (there are other issues I do not envy you for having to deal with). Blacklist
I meant to say yesterday but my thanks for your input into the blacklist page. Nick excepted it has felt a little lonely in there mostly (I think A. B. will be back soon). To have someone else's view is so helpful. (and teamwork to me is so important too).
If you have the time could you look at Talk:Spam_blacklist#gportal.hu which I do not know what to do about? Equally I am concerned about Talk:Spam_blacklist#pwinsider.com as well. This was not logged at all so it is hard to see why it should be left on the list (though I do not see the site as that useful and I do not like sites where a further six other sites all wanting scripting access).

- I have doubts that you will ever be an "ordinary" bird :) As to learning regex, I picked it up in part through frustration because it was not getting done and via Nick who was very helpful. The en wp black & white lists now look much better too. Thanks for the pointer. As a more experienced 'crat than me can you let me have your views? I see Max & .anaconda "recreate" the old user name and then indef block it (which I have done too). I take it that this is "best practice"? On Commons we have just had an RfA from someone whose old name was "stolen" by a vandal - the process I have used would prevent that I guess. A remarkable Wikimedian
I have come across some good people while roaming Foundation wikis (& there are many I have not yet got to!). However I have never come across anyone quite like you. Consistently fast, efficient and helpful together with being genuinely nice - that I have not come across before. I do not "do" barnstars and the like (if I did you would get a whole bunch!). However I have found something that provides beauty, warmth & light which I hope will be with you in the "dawn" of new responsibilities across the foundation. Hace tanto tiempo que no paso por aquí... :( Acabo de comprobar mi número de ediciones en meta y no es muy grande. En realidad yo he editado mucho más que eso aquí pero fue hace mucho tiempo y supongo que muchas de las páginas ya no existen. Hice muchos cambios en los spacenames de varios archivos para wikipedias en diferentes lenguas pero creo que finalmente los borraron porque ya eran innecesarios. También dejé comentarios en otras páginas (no muy serias) que no deben de existir ya :(, así que tal vez no tenga suficientes ediciones para poder votar aquí :S ... :'( ... ¿Cual es el número mínimo de ediciones para poder votar aquí?
