Davazdah Cheshmeh, also called the Davazdah Pelleh (old name Haraz Bridge), is a bridge in Amol, Iran.[1] The Davazdah Cheshmeh Bridge is a valuable monument of Mazandaran, Iran.[2] The Bridge is located in the center of the city, near Moalagh Bridge and connects the east of the city to the westerly sector.[3] Muḥammad Ḥasan Khān talking about history of bridge says, that though it was there before Safavid era, but was completed during time of Abbas I of Persia.[4][5]
The Achaemenids built on a grand scale. The artists and materials they used were brought from all territories of then the largest state in the world.[citation needed] Pasargadae set the standard: its city was laid out in an extensive park with bridges, gardens, colonnaded palaces and open column pavilions.
