Jaromír Nohavica (1953-) is a Czech songwriter, lyricist, and poet. He started writing lyrics for pop singers, and in the 1980s eventually emerged as a performer in his own right. The popularity of his live performances and records is evidence that he has successfully continued his artform to the present day.
