Introduction

Electron Paramagnetic Resonance was invented after Second World War by Zawojski. Nowdays EPR is a major part of radiospectroscopy and elementary investigations, and has many practical applications.

Units and constants

Magnetic Field is discrabed by some constants and units:

  • Magnetic induction   in teslas [T]
  • Magnetic flux dencity   in [ ]
  •   and   relationship:

Furthermore in describing EPR, following units are very important:

  • Planck constant   [J.s]
  • Boltzmann constant  [J.K-1]
  • Bohr magnetone  [J.T-1]
