Anthony Schlegel is a current American Football linebacker for the New York Jets. He was drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Schlegel played college football at Ohio State University after transferring from the United States Air Force Academy. While at the Academy, Schlegel served as the team's co-captain, earning all-conference honors before transferring. He is originally from Dallas, which is where he graduated from Highland Park High School. Additionally, Schlegel was a state champion in high school wrestling.
