House System
The Trinity House System began in 1917 and were named after four men who played a notable part in establishing the school the houses were:
- Arnold - Purple
- Henty - Light Blue
- Merritt - Maroon
- Roberts - Dark Blue
Over 2004 and 2005 8 new houses were added to accommodate the growing population of the school (the original houses were replaced from Grades 3-6 and 4 new houses were added from 7-12) the new Senior Houses were:
- Cowen - Orange
- Hindley - Grey
- Kent-Hughes - Red
- Sutton - Yellow (Referred to as the Canary House, and patronized by a large number of the school's boarding house community in its first year)
This change resulted in a large amount of rivalry between the "old" and "new" houses, with many students becoming disgruntled as they were moved from houses they had been in for many years.
The junior school (grades 3-6) houses were replaced with new ones. Boys, going from year 6 to 7 would become members of one of the corresponding Senior school houses. The Junior School houses had two colours.
- Friend - Yellow and Light Blue: Students would go into either Henty or Sutton
- Henderson - Red and Dark Blue: Students would go into either Roberts or Kent-Hughes
- Inglis - Grey and Maroon: Students would go into either Meritt or Hindley
- Summers - Orange and Purple: Students would go into either Arnold or Cowen

The School Song
Our fair home stands on the crest of the hill. When we've dodged our taks, and played with a will. But where'er we roam our hearts linger still With the Green and the Gold and the Mitre. Oh here's to the school that we love the est; We name her with pride, and we serve her with zest. Come sing hurrah; and the glories attest Of the Green and the Gold and the Mitre. TO live our motto and play the game In field and classroom shall be our aim; Till in life's broader fields we may win wider fame, We have tried our fellows and found the true True to the School and their comrades too; Never a one but his duty will do For the Green and the Gold and the Mitre
The School Hymn
(Tune of Hyfrodol)
Heavenly father, may thy blessing,
rest upon all Trinity now
When in praise thy name we hallow
When in Prayer thee we bow
In the wondrous story reading
Of the Lord of Truth and Grace
May we learn from this great story
All the Arts of friendliness
Truthful speech and honest action
Courage, patience, steadfastness
How to master self and temper
How to make our conduct fair
When to speak and when be silent
When to do and when forbear
May God's spirit wise and holy
With his gifts our spirits bless
Make us loving, joyous, peaceful
Rich in goodness, gentleness
Strong in self-control and faithful
Kind in thought and deed; for he
Sayeth, "What ye do for others
Ye are doing unto me"
