As someone who works at said airport, all I know is that ATCO Frontec has a contract to provide maintenance services for the airfield, such as snow removal, grass cutting, etc. The airport itself is operated by the Edmonton Airport Authority. Ditar (Talk) 20:18, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Canadian Water Aerodromes
CBW, I saw your message on Eagle 101's page about the bot work. We're currently running the bot through all articles in {{airport-stub}} and all subs, adding |class=Stub|importance=.
I realize that they're all low priority, but since the bot is just starting its run of over 2000+ articles and has a high counter, it'll take a while. In the mean time, I used AWB to make a list and filtered out all non-water aerodromes. I'll be tagging them momentarily.
If you'd like to chat, we have an IRC channel that we monitor pretty reliably. You can find us on irc.freenode.net in #wikipedia-spam (channel for an anti-linkspam bot we're all working on) and #wikipedia-spam-t (the unflooded talk channel). I am curious as to what terms the Fat Sally page violated/did not adhere to which was cause for deletion.
Low Visibility Operations at BRS
Your advice please. I can see an edit war starting about the relative merits of easyJet and BA Connect aircraft and their merits as appplied to operations at BRS.
Your thought on the matters would be of use. I have difficulty seeing this a balance without equal treatment being applied to other airlines (and at other airports!!)

CBW, I was just going to reply to you on Lar's page, but when I saw his last remark I figured this was a better place for it. You don't need any human help to get into the admin channel. If you're registered to services, just type "/msg chanserv invite #wikipedia-en-admins" and an automatic invite should appear (since you're an admin). Double-click on the invite and you're in. Hi CambridgeBayWeather,
I've noticed that you've been removing edits by 70.54.215.245, which has basically been additions of the company "Novajet" to airports around Canada. It seems to be a means of adding publicity. I don't know if you've bothered to check, but that IP address returns to the physical ___location of the company Novajet. As you may be more experienced with Wikipedia than I, is there a way of blocking this IP for both the use of self-promotion and adding information that isn't true? (I live in Oshawa, where the Oshawa Airport is located, and I can guarantee you they don't fly out of there). Cheers. Derekwriter 01:53, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Section 14 of the Cities Towns and Villages Act is pretty clear on the issue. I know in Cam Bay the Hamlets Act has different dates, but Iqaluit is not Cambridge Bay, and is not subject to the Hamlets Act. Please see today's Nunatsiaq News.216.108.29.22 16:48, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
VP Glitch
Haven't seen it do that yet? Thanks for the cover! I have noticed every now and then it freezes up and vandalism warnings(if I don't catch it when it happens) sit for a half an hour or more before saving. I find I am using VP as a "pre-viewer" and then using popups and ARV to do the rest. I will try to back-track on changes to see that it doesn't do that again. Again thanks, cheers and take care! Just to say that you should check the previous edits before reverting everything. The Economy/Sovereignty movement subsection is subject to contention as it mixes a history and politics lesson (of dubious value due to the constant edit wars) to what should be a neutral description (whatever that is) of the current state of the economy of Montreal.--Boffob 19:49, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Excuse me, but those links were not spam on the skateboarding page, Quarter Snacks for example lists many spots to skate in New York City (which happens to be one of the centers of skateboarding). It also shows videos and photos of trips and etc) This is not SPAM it is a resource for skaters to see whats going on in t the new york scene.
I will be REPOSTING that link because it is a viable resrouce for skaters who visit and live in in NYC .

While reading through the posts at the Ref Desk, I followed a link to Victoria Island and now I realize just how far north you live. My first reaction was "Holy crap!"
