This article meets the WP:DEL-REASON 6 and 7 criteria. The references in this article are not really that good, and they don't prove the text. In printed books on Diesel engines, there is no such thing as "Diesel engine problems", I suppose that is because describing _all_ possible problems would fill at least a dozen books. In its current state, the article mainly focusses on carbon build, which is a very specific problem of internal combustion engines (and it does not affect Diesel engines only).
