- Delete All, for sure. Holy %@#&! Do you have any idea what you've unearthed here, Rathfelder?? There are 100s if not 1000s of these Categories by millennium - most of which have only 2 subcategories. It's like one of those horror movies where there's a toe sticking out of the ground -- with a whole cemetery's worth of dead bodies buried a little deeper....
- And many of those 1st millennium subcats are dubious at best. For example, have a look at Category:Shopping malls by millennium of establishment. (Yes, "Shopping malls".) A whole slew of ridiculous nested categories were created -- all for the single article about... wait for it... Trajan's Market -- apparently the first-ever "Shopping mall". Category:Magic: The Gathering players
- Nominator's rationale: This is a true "Categories for discussion", as I don't advocate deletion. I was going to create Category:Japanese Magic: The Gathering players, since there's already a Category:American Magic: The Gathering players and enough people in the main category to support a Japanese category (probably some other nationalities too, though I haven't gotten that far). I hesitated when I saw a Japanese category had previously been deleted. The CfD only mentioned a German category, but I assume multiple categories were deleted (interestingly enough, not the American category).
- I'm probably being overly cautious, given the age of the discussion. I'd like to proceed with further subcats for Category:Magic: The Gathering players. --BDD (talk) 17:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
