Propose merging Template:Germanic mythology with Template:Germanic paganism.
Separate template (created 26 June 2019) could as well merge with Template:Germanic paganism to keep "paganism" and "mythology" collected, as seen in Template:Anglo-Saxon paganism and Template:Norse paganism topics? PPEMES (talk) 17:14, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. Mythology (stories and motifs) is a separate topic from paganism (religious practices). Germanic mythology has for exemple been used in Christian contexts, such as the Sigurd portals in medieval churches. Ffranc (talk) 17:51, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
- The idea is to regard the religion more as a whole, as seen in the attached examples. PPEMES (talk) 11:10, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

- Support per PPEMES's reasoning. While I take Ffranc's point, Christianity has borrowed all sorts of things from all over Europe and the Near East, even various gods and goddesses (various "saints", mostly decanonized in recent years). — AReaderOutThataway t/c 16:28, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
