Huilliche language

Huilliche language is an Araucanian language spoken by about 2,000 in Chile by the ethnic Huilliche people. It is spoken in an area south of the Mapuche and from the city of Valdivia south to Chiloé Island in nation's X Región (10th Region or province)

Alternative names for this language are Veliche and Huiliche. There is a dialect called Tsesungún. Mapudungun, the language of the Mapuche, is closely related.
