Category:Internet companies of Iran
- Nominator's rationale: These are not "companies concerned with the process or delivery of the internet (its infrastructure)." Rathfelder (talk) 22:54, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:1210s architecture
- Nominator's rationale: Decade categories before 1500 were merged, see e.g. Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2015_March_17#11th-century_architecture. These are the only exceptions left in Category:Architecture by decade / Category:Architecture by decade. The contents are already within Category:Buildings and structures completed in 1217 / 1219 / 1299, so no merge is necessary. – Fayenatic London 21:00, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Internet companies of Denmark
- Nominator's rationale: Only content is Category:Internet service providers of Denmark Rathfelder (talk) 20:15, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Support essentially per WP:SMALLCAT. The latter guideline has an exception rule but I do not think it applies here. We currently have an incomplete tree of internet companies with only 35 countries and it looks this number will only get smaller just by lack of relevant content (see e.g. Iranian nomination on top of this page). The SMALLCAT exception rule aims to prevent ripping out one country from an otherwise healthy tree, but this is not a healthy tree anyway. Marcocapelle (talk) 09:17, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- I am busy pruning this tree. I think "Internet companies" is too ambiguous to be the basis of a category. But I dont think I understand the terminology well enough to navigate through all the surrounding undergrowth.Rathfelder (talk) 12:52, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Category:All vital articles
- Nominator's rationale: Empty and obsolete category related to those listed below but which has been superceded by Category:Wikipedia Version 1.0 vital articles. Does not appear to be populated by any template and the only use is a link at Wikipedia:WikiProject Vital Articles/Assessment stats, itself an obsolete assessment table which was last updated by Erwin85Bot in 2010. The actual category for all vital articles, which is populated by {{Vital article}}, is at Category:All Wikipedia vital articles. PC78 (talk) 19:13, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia vital articles by quality
- Nominator's rationale: These categories are not populated by the {{Vital article}} banner but by {{WP1.0}}, so for clarity of purpose they should be renamed accordingly. If successful it would also require this change to the template. PC78 (talk) 18:48, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Question: are there Versions other than 1.0? As the answer is no, then Oppose as unnecessarily lengthening category names to no purpose. There is no confusion to clear up; and confusion may well be added by the specification "1.0" where there is no "1.5" or "2.0" to look for. (why the heck offline release is labeled "version 1.0" is another subject.) KillerChihuahua 14:29, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- I think you missed the point of the nom. These categories are populated by the {{WP1.0}} banner and are therefore specific to the WP:1.0 project. They are not the same categories used by WP:VA hence they are ambiguous and their purpose should be made clear. There is nothing "unnecessary" about it. PC78 (talk) 17:15, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- You're correct, I misread the nom, or misunderstood. Support per nom (and handy dandy clarification) KillerChihuahua 17:31, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- No worries, perhaps I didn't make the nom clear enough. PC78 (talk) 17:38, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Bad Seed Ltd. albums
- Nominator's rationale: No period/full stop present per albums/singles packaging; publishing and copyright notices; as well as both Australian and British English conventions. --Idiotchalk (t@lk) 18:23, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
WikiProject Vital Articles collaborations
- Nominator's rationale: Empty and unused categories. Wikipedia:WikiProject Vital Articles/Collaboration was set up in 2009 but hasn't been touched since then, and I have marked the page as "historical" accordingly. These associated categories are therefore not needed and should be deleted as a matter of routine housekeeping. C1 was declined though, so bringing them here. Category:United States internet company stubs
- Nominator's rationale: The vast majority are not internet companies. Rathfelder (talk) 10:58, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Insecticons
- Nominator's rationale: Overcategorization of minor fictional in-universe traits. No need to upmerge because all articles are covered within the same category structure. TTN (talk) 10:49, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Internet companies of Hong Kong
- Nominator's rationale: only content is Internet service providers of Hong Kong . Rathfelder (talk) 10:17, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
- Agreed we should put it in those categories. Rathfelder (talk) 16:08, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
