Cosplay Token
Cosplay Token（日: コスプレトークン）is a cryptocurrency developed to accommodate cosplay communities worldwide and the use on DApps.
It is named with the word “cosplay”, a keyword commonly used around the globe, and “token”, a word synonymous to “crypto-asset” and “cryptocurrency” enabling distributed transactions and entailing various potential uses.
The currency symbol of Cosplay Token is “COT”.
It has also been approved and listed in the white list by Japan’s Financial Services Agency and is also a listed cryptocurrency in Japan’s crypto-exchanges.
- Cosplay Token Project
- This is a DAO and an ecosystem building project targeting cosplayer and fan communities scattered around the world by utilising blockchain technology. The project does not just only cover worldwide cosplay events and the largest cosplay platform “World Cosplay” in the world, an NFT service “Curecos” has also been developed for expansion of COT usage. The ultimate goal of the project is to build up a community that not just cosplayers but anyone regardless of his/her age, gender and language can join.

Mechanism
Regarding the credibility of the issued cryptocurrency, COT is a cryptocurrency based on the smart contracts by the public blockchain Ethereum, therefore COT’s credibility is on par with that of those platforms.
Besides Ethereum Network, use with Polygon Network is also possible.
Characteristics
- Highly evaluated for its rapid hardfork action during the hacking suffered by Liquid Global.
- Regarded as a credible project since it has passed Japan’s listing approval review – the strictest in the world.
- On Curecos, cosplayer Kasyou Rosiel has recorded a sales record of 428 NFTs of her own cosplays (107,000COTs, equivalent to about JPY450,000 ※based on the rate on 13th Sep)[9]
