About
The Open Access File of the Day highlights the reuse of non-text media from scholarly open access sources on Wikimedia projects. Any user may post this template to their userspace to see a new open access file every day. This project is a fun way to experience and share media content, and - along with the gallery of all Open Access Files of the Day - demonstrates the breadth of open access materials available for sharing.
