Canneseries
Il Festival Internazionale delle Serie di Cannes (chiamato comunemente Canneseries) è un festival internazionale incentrato sulle produzioni televisive creato nel 2018 a Cannes, in Francia.[1]

Il festival presenta, promuove e assegna riconoscimenti alle serie televisive internazionali. La manifestazione si è tenuta in concomitanza al MIPTV francese dal 2017 al 2024.[2]
Storia
modificaNel 2017 la città di Cannes presenta un bando di concorso lanciato dal Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée denominato Festival International de Séries (Festival internazionale delle serie televisive).[3] Nonostante non venne finanziato dallo stato, il comune di Cannes decide di finanziare il progetto denominandolo Canneseries con l'emittende Canal+ come partner ufficiale del festival; Fleur Pellerin assumerne la presidenza e Benoît Louvet viene nominato direttore generale.[4][5]
La prima edizione del festival si è svolta nell'aprile 2018 presso il Palais des Festivals et des Congrès a Cannes in concomitanza con il Marché International des Programmes de Télévision.[6]
