History

edit

The company was founded in 2020 by Sheldon Arora, CEO and Jenny Hanlon, CFO.[1] StaffDNA's SDNA app allows job seekers to search for jobs, apply, see rates and job details, communicate with hiring managers, book assignments, request extensions, view pay stubs, save important documents like licenses and certifications, and build a resume.[2][1][3]

StaffDNA is the title sponsor of the StaffDNA Cure Bowl, an annual college football game held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando each December. Produced by ESPN[4] and the Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF), the game aims to raise awareness for cancer research and treatment.[5][6]

StaffDNA holds a healthcare staffing certification from The Joint Commission.[7]

In 2024, StaffDNA was awarded 13 patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).[8]

A year-long investigation by D CEO reveals a toxic workplace culture, numerous lawsuits, and high turnover in Arora's companies.[9][10]

In 2025, StaffDNA announced its acquisition of healthcare staffing technology company Kevala’s per diem candidate database.[11][12]
