Hello there to everyone. I'm EggRoll, and I'd like to ask for the Meta community to grant me the privilege of joining the administrator corps. A little about me, I suppose, though talking about myself has never been my particular strong-suit. I'm an edit filter manager and transwiki importer on enwiki, as well as being part of the ACC team. I am not an administrator on a content project (the closest I came was a 66% on my homewiki). I hold global abuse filter helper permissions, as well as global abuse filter maintainer permissions. I'll come right out of the gate here, my edit-count is fairly sucky, and I'm definitely not a heavily active person. I try to help out where I can, so I'm not necessarily pinned into any particular area. I'd like to request adminship based off of my edit requests to some protected pages, including MediaWiki_talk:Globalblocking-modify-success, MediaWiki_talk:Abusefilter-edit-subtitle, Talk:Requests_for_logos#Protected_edit_request_on_8_August_2025, Talk:Wikipedia_Asian_Month_2017/Asian_Art#Protected_edit_request_on_6_August_2025, and some others. I also can point to a couple of CSDs, which of course wouldn't be in my contributions due to the pages being deleted, but are of course there. In addition, I offer my knowledge of the abuse filter where-ever it may be helpful, along with making changes to local and global filters. I suppose this makes me a bit of an all-rounder. If the question of "what made you request adminship" is on anyone's mind, just before this I noticed a page through recent changes that was obvious vandalism, and speedy delete tagged it. While it was deleted quite quickly, I would be able to delete the page myself if I was an administrator, and so I made my mind up to file a request, though I've been thinking about doing so for a few days now. --EggRoll97 (talk) 04:25, 17 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Strong support I understand that for some, this might seem a bit of an oddball request given that the candidate doesn't hold sysop on any project – however, in terms of trust, I consider AFM to be equally as much of a high-trust role and I trust their abilities to handle protect requests, abuse filters and anything else that they may pick up on the way.
