Meta:Requests for checkuser/Lar

The rationale for this nomination is that the rules for Check User rights require there to be two on any Wiki. As I understand it there are no other elected CU's on Meta so Larry would make the 2nd to Pathoschild. In my experience recently there appear to be no other active elected CUs & I fully agree with Aphaia that rules should be respected here as well as on other Wikis.

Larry is a user I have considerable respect for. I have worked with him across projects in a number of ways. He is approachable and responsive. His crosswiki experience is extensive and indicates a committed wikimedian. I nominated him for these rights on Commons and was very pleased that the community there supported him. He has made good use of the rights there & is familiar with the issues involved. I have made a number of nomination on wikis - the one for Larry on Commons I have no regrets about at all and I am sure he would serve here in a valuable way. Thank you, Herby, for your support (it should be noted that Herby and I have worked closely together on a few crosswiki cases he's brought to my attention, and I intend to nom him for CU on Commons fairly soon... if no one beats me to it), and I accept.
