È stata la prima edizione dell'evento speciale dal 2008, mentre è stata scelta come sede il Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum come nella prima edizione dell'evento andato in onda trentanove anni prima.^[2] Durante l'evento, si è tenuta la finale per decretare la prima campionessa della nuova WWE Women's United States Championship tra Chelsea Green e Michin.
