Please access Special:MergeAccount first and see if there's any error message. Deleting global accounts is not something we should do very often. If that doesn't work, we can try the global account deletion. Regards, -- Dferg ^{☎ talk} 13:32, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

I remember some while ago former steward Manuelt15 had the same problem. In his case he deleted his global account, recreated the global account and the lost global rights were granted by other stewards. After that, he was finally visible in the list of global accounts and (more importantly) the automatically generated list of stewards. Strange was that he had access to all the tools of the stewards et cetera, so that's not the problem. I think it's indeed a bug and maybe others have the same problem too.
