Where, exactly, is this template supposed to be placed?

The doc gives conflicting advice on template placement. First it says "For placement at the bottom of article talk pages of articles that are being worked on..." while later it says "For placement in the header section of article talk pages of articles that are being worked on by..." Talk pages are already confusing enough for inexperienced editors as it is. Grayfell (talk) 01:45, 7 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
