This template uses a static background that I want to replace with a Wikimedia design token for better readability when switching between light mode and dark mode. This should be uncontroversial. Template:WPX action box/testcases shows essentially no change in light mode and an improvement in dark mode. See {{WPX participants box}} and its transclusions for other places {{WPX action box}} is used.
