editHexaHealth was founded in 2021 by Ankur Gigras, Vikas Chauhan, and Dr. Aman Priya Khanna to streamline surgical care, from doctor discovery to postoperative support.[1]
Funding
editIn September 2021, HexaHealth raised ₹33 crore in a seed funding round from Omidyar Network India, Chiratae Ventures, and other investors.[4][5]
In April 2025, it secured US$12 million (approximately ₹101.82 crore) in a Series A round led by Orios Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital, with participation from Enzia Ventures, ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, Chiratae Ventures, and Omidyar Network India.[3][1]
HexaHealth has raised a total of approximately US$25.6 million across five funding rounds as of 2025.[6]
Operations
editIn FY 2024-25, the company enabled nearly 15,000 surgeries worth approximately ₹150 crore, with a cumulative total of over 30,000 surgeries since inception.[3]
As of October 2024, the health tech platform employs approximately 259 people and reported operational revenue of ₹17 crore in FY24.[6]
In 2024, it launched a national liver advisory board to guide surgical referrals.[7]
Research and Surveys
editIn February 2024, HexaHealth surveyed ~1,000 individuals with BMI ≥30 in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi. The study found increased chronic joint pain and hypertension in obese individuals aged 26+, with 15% of those under 20 in Bengaluru having multiple health conditions. Mumbai showed lower willingness to seek medical treatment (15.97%) compared to NCR (19.71%) and Bengaluru (19.34%). Fitness engagement was highest in Mumbai (40%), while Bengaluru led in fitness gadget use (43%). The CEO of health tech platform, Ankur Gigras, stressed the need for obesity awareness campaigns.[8]
