Unexpected Treasures is a 2025 American science fiction film written by John Paul Ungaretti and Christina Heller. Heller produced the feature, and it was directed by Ungaretti. The film stars Mike Manning, Olivia Blue, Lauren Han, AnnaMaria Demara, Michael Dunn, Jay Whittaker, Rex Edhlund and Aaron Groben.[1] It premiered at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2025 and is scheduled for release in September 2025 on major streaming platforms.[2]

editFilming took place in Pioneertown, Landers, and Giant Rock in the Mojave Desert, California.[8] The screenplay was co-written by Christina Heller and John Paul Ungaretti, with Heller also serving as producer.
