TFA

edit

Thank you today for Heartburn, "about heartburn! Heartburn is something that even non-medical editors have probably heard of and even experienced. With this article, I aimed to make it as accessible as possible. This means that I did a lot of simplifying technical terms to hopefully allow non-medical editors to understand the article's content. For such a prevalent issue you may expect there to be way more information and sources available on the topic, however I found it incredibly hard to find studies focused on heartburn alone, hence why there is some older publications here."! - Enjoy your first TFA day, and good wishes for your own health! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 06:46, 13 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi, i’ve been working on drafting a wikipedia article for Adebola Opaleye, and i would appreciate it if you can have a look at the draft before i submit it for review. Would you be able to review the draft and let me know if you think it’s ready for submission or if there are any areas I need to revise? The link to the draft is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Adebola_Opaleye

Wikipedia citation template

edit

Use this for the Vancouver author format. Check the "add ref tag" and "use full journal title" boxes after you enter the pmid or other source ID from the pick list, then submit and copy the result into your edit. Good luck! Zefr (talk) 04:10, 20 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

See User talk:SandyGeorgia#Coeliac disease, however I understand that obviously Sandy isn't the only person editing the page so if others would prefer I just use the Vanc format I absolutely can, I just didn't know where to find a handy tool to make the citations (thank you for the link by the way, I appreciate it). IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 04:21, 20 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Nearly always, adding the {{cs1 config|name-list-style=vanc|display-authors=3}} template to the top of the page will change all the refs to the vanc style. On only a few occasions, some long-term editors object to changing a style they've used over article history. Worse that can happen is the template is changed to another style or reverted. Zefr (talk) 04:28, 20 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Okay thank you, I'm going to leave them for tonight and then try to use the vanc format just so it doesn't become an issue. IntentionallyDense (Contribs) 04:31, 20 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
