Voyager 1?

edit

How far in advance can TFA dates be reserved? Voyager 1 will reach 1 light-day from the Earth on November 15, 2026. I'm thinking of getting that up to FA in honor of that achievement and that would be a great day to be on the main page. RoySmith (talk) 15:03, 21 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Nominative determinism

edit

There's an apparently valid {{globalize}} tag in Nominative determinism § Background. Setting aside whether the article still meets FA criteria, shouldn't maintenance tags generally be resolved before an article is put on the main page as TFA? voorts (talk/contributions) 03:17, 27 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Ideally, yes, but the article was listed for TFA about six weeks before the tag was put there, so it’s unsurprising that it wasn’t seen at the point of scheduling, and if no-one flags up the problem to the TFA coords before its scheduled date, then there is always a possibility this can happen. I’ve hidden the tag for today to give it a clean run, but it can go back tomorrow. I don’t know enough about nominative determinism to know whether the tag is justified or not. - SchroCat (talk) 03:43, 27 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

September 2025

edit

A schedule, as usual tentative, for September 2025 may be found here. Scheduling will take place later this week, though the early part of the month, which consists mostly of well-supported TFA/Rs, I will probably just go ahead and do. As usual, we're not cutting off potential nominations, but if you have something in mind, you might want to go ahead and nominate it at TFA/R or let me know something's coming down the pike.--Wehwalt (talk) 18:14, 20 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

October 2025

edit

There's a draft schedule for October '25 here and I'll start scheduling shortly. The door is open for late suggestions or requests for changes. - SchroCat (talk) 08:33, 17 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
