Establishing New Residential, Commercial Services or Construction Fire Hydrant Meter
If you are moving to Southlake and need to sign up for new service, or need a construction fire hydrant meter, please visit our Citizen Self Service Portal to submit your request electronically. Once the form is submitted and the customer service team completes your request, you will receive an email providing you with additional information regarding your account and your trash/recycling schedule. For residential services, this request includes water, sewer & trash services. On your first months bill you will see a $75.00 deposit and a $15.00 service fee. For commercial services, this request includes water and sewer services only. You will need to contact CWD at 972.392.9300 in order to establish trash/recycling services. On your first months bill you will see a deposit that will vary from $250.-$500. based upon the size of the meter located at the property. For a construction fire hydrant meter, once the application has been received, a deposit of $2500.00 will need to be collected prior to the release of the construction fire hydrant meter. The deposit can be made in person or online with a credit card.

Payment Options
Southlake Water Utilities accepts payments made in cash, money order, checks and credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express). Payments can be made in person at 1400 Main Street, Suite 200, Monday - Friday from 8:00am -5:00 pm with a daily closure from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
To make a payment online, visit our online Citizen Self Service portal. To access your account, you will need your account number and your Customer ID number, both located on your water bill. The Citizen Self Service Portal will allow you to make a one-time payment online with a credit card, sign up for electronic funds transfer (EFT) or enroll in recurring credit card. The portal will allow for updating of your credit card information that we currently have on file if you are enrolled in the recurring credit card option by following these steps.
Update Information on Your Current Southlake Water Utilities Account
Need to make changes on your existing account? The Manage Your Account form will allow you to: Stop Service on your account, Transfer Service within Southlake, Request an Adjustment on your bill due to a leak, Enroll in paperless billing, or Update Contact information. You will need your Southlake Water Utilities account number, which is located on your bill, to complete the form. Outdoor Irrigation Watering Schedule - Twice A Week Smart Watering
Residents, businesses and Homeowners Associations are required to follow a year-round lawn watering schedule, and watering must be carried out between the hours of 6pm and 10am on your designated days only. Know Your Watering Schedule can be used to find out your designated watering days and some helpful water conservation tips.
As part of the 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), public water systems are required to inventory, classify, and report all service line materials by October 16, 2024. Southlake Water Utilities is proud to serve Southlake's residential and commercial customers. The Customer Service Team handles billing and billing inquiries for water, sewer, and trash services. The team assists residents and businesses with new services, termination of service, updating account information, paying your water bill, and general inquiries about rates or services. The team provides the billing for the trash and recycling services; however, your collections are provided by Community Waste Disposal (CWD).
Sewer, garbage and recycling rate changes will go into effect on October 1, 2024, for all Southlake Water Utilities customers. Please visit our My Southlake News article for additional information.
