Re: Backward functionality for Harmony in Earthdata Search?

Thank you very much for pursuing this glitch. Harmony is a very, very useful tool, and I appreciate the effort the Earthdata Search team has put into this tool, earthaccess and others. Speaking of which, would it also be possible to make some of these older datasets compatible with both Harmony AND ...

Re: Issue Downloading Aqua MODIS Level-2 Ocean Color (OC) Data, Version 2022.0

I have also had problems downloading subsets of this dataset using Harmony and the PODAAC L2 Cloud Subsetter. However, no problem at all downloading whole granules. As you pointed out, the "processing with errors" message is probably a useful diagnostic.

Backward functionality for Harmony in Earthdata Search?

The Harmony spatial subsetting tool has been working great, reducing file sizes from granules to my AOI, but I wonder if perhaps it doesn't work on older Modis Aqua OC files ? I have been downloading subsets of Aqua MODIS Level-2 Regional Ocean Color (OC) Data, version 2022.0, and I have been workin...

Earthdata download error

Good morning- I used Earthdata Search to specify a spatial and temporal subset of the JPL-L4_GHRSST-SSTfnd-MUR-GLOB-v02.0 dataset. The Earthdata Download app v.1.0.4 installed on Windows 11 PC says the files are ready for download, but the download stops almost immediately with the following informa...

.tar file virus alert

I submitted a data request for 2018 MODIS Aqua SST data through the Oceancolor Browser and received an email saying the data were ready for download. Using http to download the data, Windows Defender identified a virus threat in the .tar file and stopped the download process. I had previously downlo...

Re: Spatial Subsetting Applications

Thanks for looking at this. You are absolutely right: I have seven recent Appeears requests for Ecostress data. Both polygon data requests (Florida Bay poly b26616f8-8ae9-4c47-86df-933402078d15 and Tampa Bay poly 9c796e35-6f55-4a95-be82-09d8fc7ead15) provided data and so did the Tampa Bay point data...

Re: Spatial Subsetting Applications

I am a little late joining this thread, but it seems the appropriate place for my comments and questions. I have found Appeears to be very helpful for polygon and point data extraction for several Ecostress and Modis datasets. Polygon data retrieval works on land AND in estuaries and the Gulf of Mex...
