a_869_qaa algorithm documentation

Good Morning,

I've processed some Modis Aqua data for Total Absorption at 869nm, QAA algorithm(a_869_qaa product) and the generated values are lower than expected. I've searched but cannot find information on the algorithm/coefficients used by l2gen to create this product.

Is there documentation available on the algorithm/coefficients used to create this product? Is the absorption of pure water removed from the output?

The QAA code is only valid for the visible bands (<700nm).
The code *should* deny you the ability to output bands outside the visible range, apparently it doesn't ... we will fix that.
The values being reported are not from 869...fun with data arrays in C...
