Re: MISR LAI
Cheyenne,
I have attached descriptions I found at ASDC for the product you shared, and for what I thought was a daily version of the same thing.
But the descriptions are different.
I also noticed it is not available in quarterly and annual products like the MIL3*LSN products.
Wondering why the two descriptions are different, and if the monthly product is in fact the only one containing LAI.
Thanks.

Re: MISR LAI
Hi Jamie
I checked in with our MISR team and the other MISR Level 3 standard Land Surface products all contain LAI. The appropriate short names are:
MIL3DLSN (daily aggregated results on a 0.5x0.5 degree grid)
MIL3MLSN (monthly aggregated results on a 0.5x0.5 degree grid)
MIL3QLSN (quarterly aggregated results on a 0.5x0.5 degree grid)
MIL3YLSN (yearly aggregated results on a 0.5x0.5 degree grid)
If you are looking for the most recent data, you will want to check the FIRSTLOOK versions of the same products:
MI3DLSNF
MI3MLSNF
Also the FIRSTLOOK files should only be used when the standard processing is not yet available, as the FIRSTLOOK processing uses ancillary data from the previous year. Hope this helps.
Warm Regards,
Cheyenne

Re: MISR LAI
Thanks for the clarification. I suspected as much, but it's not mentioned in the MISR product description (all of which could use some cleaning up, IMHO), so how is a user to know??

Re: MISR LAI
Hello,
Completely agree however since the migration to the new ASDC site there is a lot of work to do in cleaning up the MISR pages. We are working very diligently to ensure that every user is getting what they need.
Warm Regards,
Cheyenne
