Hello,
I wonder if a website refers to ocean color matchup data sets like Seabass / NOMAD etc. but for the sea surface temperature ?
I have my own data set but for MODIS-A daylight only and wanted to add some nocturnal data. However any sensors are welcome.

Edit : I got most of the answers from playing with the data, I would just like a confirmation for:
- I can not find the depth of each in situ sample in the header, are all the data supposed to come from the 0-2m surface?
- Does the insitu_at correspond to atmospheric temperature ?
- What do the insitu_oiavhrr and insitu_cmcsst correspond to ? I mean, are they different MODIS Aqua algorithms made by other teams, or a product coming from an other sensor/method ?

FYI, some of the information you asked about can be found on, or supplemented with, SeaBASS's SST Validation Description Page. Regarding your questions:

- The surface depth or method for the in situ SST value depends on the source of the in situ data source used for validation, e.g., many are based on NOAA iQuam which incorporates different SST measurement types
- insitu_at is air temperature measured in situ
- insitu_oiavhrr and insitu_cmcsst are externally produced SST products provided as references. Although they have the "insitu_" prefix as part of their field names, that is only to distinguish them from the columns of satellite data (e.g., they aren't MODIS-Aqua products.) Those field names correspond respectively to: Optimum Interpolation Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) and Canadian Meteorological Center (CMC)
