missing NCEP file for doy 058

Hey guys,

any thoughts on the missing 00 & 06 NCEP met files from 2022-058:

N202205800_MET_NCEP_6h.hdf
N202205806_MET_NCEP_6h.hdf

this is causing an outage in our reprocessing...

To clarify, these files are not reported as available via the oceandata search utility: https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/api/file_search nor are they visible on the direct access web page https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/directaccess/Ancillary/Meteorological/2022/058/

Following advice in response to a similar recent query (viewtopic.php?t=2991&sid=982d0e2c8f936d478850e90e89023ffb) I find the files _are_ available via the https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/ob/getfile/ url. Does this reflect a change in preferred access method?

Further, I now find that the files are also available via the usual getfile url: https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/getfile/<filename> but still not showing in the search utility results.

This is a problem since I have previously been advised (Sean Bailey) to use the search utility in preference to simply calling getfile on the files I expect to be available and ignoring 404s from files not available yet. So my download scripts only ask for files that appear in the listing returned from the file_search utility, hence I did not get these files even though they were actually available.

The files are available from the places you tried. All the methods you mentioned are still viable methods to find your data.
