Incomplete MODIS L1A granule list on LAADS archive

Hi,

I found in LAADS' online archive, for some day in MODIS history, only partial L1A granules of that day are available to show. For example for the day 2021013, only six L1A granules are available: https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/allData/6/MYD01/2021/013/

Does it mean that if I use the recommended wget command, such as:

wget -e robots=off -m -np -R .html,.tmp -nH --cut-dirs=3 "https://ladsweb.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/allData/6/MYD01/2021/013/" --header "Authorization: Bearer INSERT_DOWNLOAD_TOKEN_HERE" -P . ,

I cannot get the entire 288 L1A of that day from online archive?

Then if I want to some whole mission processing, is the only way I can do to order them day by day from LAADS?

Hi,

I found on LAADS archive, for some days, only a few MODIS L1A granules are available to download, or be visible, such as MODIS-Aqua L1A on the day 2021013.

My questions is: if I use the recommended wget download command for this day, without ordering them from LAADS in advance, can I get the whole day granules (288), or I can only get what are visible on the archive for that day?

Is this processing way only applied to MODIS L1A products?

Because at least for MOD06, I can use wget to download the whole day granules without ordering them.

No, there is nothing different for L1A. All products are done the same way.

A correction! Just checked with the Ops team and there is a difference between L1 and rest of the products. Level 1 products are Processing On Demand (POD) only products. These products are not permanently archived so users need to order to get these.
