Tips for retrieving satellite data

by jokarbo » Thu Jul 04, 2024 8:41 am America/New_York

I am working on a project to implement satellite data (ephemeris and clock data) into a GIS program and don't really know where to start. Any tips on where I can get real-time data or predictions from all systems, but mainly GPS and Galileo?

All help is greatly appreciated! :)

How about OB.DAACs satellite orbit predictor tool...for the missions we archive data for: https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/overpass_pred/

Thanks for the tip!

Altough I need information on the positions of the GPS (and Galileo) GNSS satellites, not sensors. Anywhere I can get this?

Hi Jokarbo,

Is this more of what you're looking for? Scroll down the page until you find "Navigation Satellites".
