Segmentation fault (core dumped)

What do you recomend?

I am having the same issue with a segmentation fault when trying to process a Landsat 8 L1 file with both OCSSW V2024.1 and V2024.2.

I am also not 100% sure that I am retrieving ancillary data when I select 'Get Ancillary' from the l2gen GUI. When I select 'Get Ancillary' a dialog box flashes past the screen, but nothing else seems to happen and the dialog quickly vanishes. I have looked for ancillary data where I expected to find it (i.e., ~/SeaDAS/ocssw/var/anc/YYYY/DDD) but the anc/ directory doesn't exist. I have opened ancillary_data.db and can see the paths noted for the ancillary data...but again, they never showed up (see attachments)? Could this be part of the segmentation fault issue?

Any suggestions for a fix/work around would be VERY much appreciated. I have attached a copy of the error and details on my specific install/configuration (it was a fresh install completed a few weeks ago). Please let me know if I can provide any additional info that might be helpful.

I believe I resolved my issues related to setting the $OCSSWROOT variable and proper downloading of ancillary data. I can now retrieve ancillary from both the command line and GUI (updated config info below). However, my issues related to the segmentation fault persist - both from the GUI and command line. Is there any way to request more verbose output from l2gen so that I can see whats happening before the fault occurs? Any suggestions on how to proceed from here would be appreciated.

From a suggestion on another thread I have reverted back to tag 2022.3 which seems to work.
