Lightening Data

I am in requirement of the data for lightening of specific ___location in India for 23 Sep 2009 i.e. approximately 15 years ago....how to get this data? If anyone know please help.

Publicly available data would be from TRMM LIS, although that may not be very helpful given you are looking at a specific date.

There are private networks, but we are unsure as to the cost:

Vaisala has the GLD360 (https://www.vaisala.com/en/blog/2023-03/vaisalas-global-lightning-dataset-gld360-begins-new-era-lightning-detection). This started in September 2009.

Another option is the World Wide Lightning Location Network - WWLLN (https://wwlln.net/). This started in 2004. It may be the best option of the three here.
