V2.0 Data Product Development Guide (DPDG) for Data Producers (https://doi.org/10.5067/DOC/ESCO/RFC-041VERSION2) Section 4.6, titled “Global Attributes”, should be expanded. V2.0 DPDG Section 4.6 currently only contains one subsection, Section 4.6.1 “Provenance”, which matches V2.0 DPDG Appendix D.6 “Provenance”. (V2.0 DPDG Appendix D is titled "Important Global Attributes".) Section 4.6 should be expanded to include additional subsections that match the other parts of Appendix D. Specifically, Section 4.6 should be expanded to include subsections that match Appendices D.1 “Interpretability” (new Section 4.6.1), D.2 “Discovery” (Section 4.6.2), D.3 “Geolocation” (Section 4.6.3), D.4 “Temporal Extent” (Section 4.6.4) and D.5 “Usability” (Section 4.6.5). The current Section 4.6.1 “Provenance” should be renumbered as Section 4.6.6 "Provenance".

Excellent point. We should consider making these improvements in the next version of the DPDG.
