MCD12Q2 v061 for 2024?
MCD12Q2 v061 for 2024?
Is any info available on if/when MCD12Q2 v061 MODIS/Terra+Aqua Land Cover Dynamics Yearly L3 Global 500 m will be available for 2024? I just downloaded from AppEEARS and it only went through 2023, and I can't pull up 2024-01-01 on EarthData Search either. Thanks!

Unfortunately, this data product takes well into the next year for the processing to complete for the previous year. Past history indicates that it will be mid-summer too early fall for the MCD12Q2 to become available. Our Data Pool site shows the yearly folders and the ingest date of each year: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MOTA/MCD12Q1.061/
